TAILORS Group prepared the TAURON Group integrated report

The TAILORS Group team has completed work on a fully integrated annual report for one of Poland’s largest energy companies, the TAURON Group. A technical novelty of this year’s edition is the business model and strategy description prepared in the form of VR (Virtual Reality) films.

In 2017, we have been dynamically developing a portfolio of online projects for major companies in key economic sectors. In the case of the TAURON Group, the main challenge was to develop a new model for presenting data based on the standards set by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). As the advisor responsible for the final shape of the structure and content, we worked with the Company for many weeks on the appropriate presentation of financial and non-financial data. The whole was encapsulated with intuitive and modern technical solutions. A project of this kind requires very broad competences at the intersection of PR, investor relations, CSR and digital product development, ‘ said Łukasz Chojecki, partner at TAILORS Group.

This year’s TAURON Group report is another project carried out by TAILORS Group for this client and the result of a very good and fruitful cooperation. The report, prepared last year, was awarded the main prize in The Best Annual Report competition organised by the Institute of Accounting and Taxation (IRiP) in two categories: general and best digital version.

The development of integrated reporting in Poland is linked to the adoption of the EU directive, which imposes an obligation to report non-financial data on listed companies, banks and investment funds that employ more than 500 people and have a balance sheet total of more than EUR 20 million or net turnover of more than EUR 40 million. According to estimates by the advisory firm Deloitte, this obligation will cover at least 300 companies in Poland.

The report we have prepared for the TAURON Group complies with the stringent IIRC guidelines, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Global Reporting Index guidelines – GRI G4. Together with our clients, we want to set trends before international standards become mandatory in Poland. By building the right set of competencies within the agency, we recognise the growing role of non-financial reporting. This was the main reason for integrating the GoResponsible team, a leader in CSR communication, into our Group,’ noted Łukasz Wójcik, partner at TAILORS Group.

This year, TAILORS Group also prepared an online report for Bank Millennium and PGNiG Group.
