DataWalk debuts on the WSE

On 28 February, DataWalk, a technology entity that is one of the few in the world to have built an analytical product based on its own technology to solve global security problems, made its debut on the main floor of the WSE.

DataWalk’s platform allows billions of objects from multiple sources to be combined, finding applications in the field of forensic analytics in the public and financial sectors, including in the fight against crime, fraud and fraud identification.

As part of its IPO, the company raised more than PLN 10 million, which will allow it to further commercialise the DataWalk platform and expand its operations in the US.

TAILORS Group’s role was to develop and implement a communication policy related to the IPO and the transfer of the listing from NewConnect to the WSE. The challenge of the project was the difficult situation on the capital market in Poland and the related cautious attitude of investors towards IPOs. In addition, there are no companies on the WSE giving exposure to the turnkey Enterprise IT software segment with which DataWalk can be compared, and the company itself is currently focused on maximising growth and development rather than short-term financial targets. For this reason, the company’s revenue and profitability can only be assumed over the long term, which is a major barrier to investment for many investors and has been another major challenge from a communications perspective.
