Drawing on the expertise of our consultants and partners, we are building a sustainable capacity for companies to report taxonomic disclosures.
EU taxonomy is the colloquial name for Regulation (EU) 2020/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2020 on establishing a framework to facilitate sustainable investment.
The regulations in place are intended to influence environmental and climate protection by redirecting capital from environmentally damaging investments to greener alternatives. They set out a list of activities and requirements that must be met to be considered sustainable.
What does this mean for companies in terms of reporting? From 2022, European companies are required to include disclosures in their non-financial reports regarding the eligibility of their business activities to the EU Taxonomy systematics.
We believe that, in the short or long term, companies should strive to be self-reliant in preparing their taxonomy disclosures. It is for this reason that we promote a consultancy model in which our experts with proven legal experience:
- Train internal company teams on taxonomy
- Collaborate with work teams in the qualification process and in the preparation of disclosures
- Verify the developed disclosures
